It depends. Some of them are made from animal hair, like goats or racoons. Sometimes it is synthetic hair.
It depends on the quality. The ones you are looking at are synthetic and really suck. I use the ones from Bee-Luscious. They are all natural hairs and the best quality. Be careful of cheaper hairs like raccoon and such they don't work as well.
