MAC Cosmetics Brushes HELP!?

im not familiar with the numbers of the mac brushes.

i'm looking to buy some but after scanning ebay i realised there are so many 'number' brushes for the same thing.

eg: 168 for Contour Brush i found two different numbers 168 and 165S.

for Eye Shading Brush i found 239 and 164S.

there are also afew more. How do you know which one to buy?

Also why are they so expensive exactly?MAC Cosmetics Brushes HELP!?
As someone suggested above, Crown brushes - I've heard about them; apparently, they are really good and have a great price range. Unfortunately, I don't know how I can get my hands on them since I don't live in the US. But I'm sure it's worth a try.

If you really want to know/learn more about MAC brushes - definitely go to the MAC site, but also read and watch lots of reviews. For reading, go to MakeUpAlley and search for reviews on specific brushes you're interested in. For watching, I suggest watching Boylre and EnKore regarding brush reviews. [see below for links] After you get a general idea of what each brush does, then you can easily make a decision.

A small tip for MAC brushes:

If the brush number begins with a '1' they are face brushes; '2' for eyes and '3' for lips.MAC Cosmetics Brushes HELP!?
Forget MAC go to

www.crownbrush.co.uk.

This is the site where all the professional make up artists buy their brushes from. They are a lot cheaper and the choice is huge. They can send you a catalogue or assist you with your choice over the phone.

Service is really good too.
Check on the website, then you will know for sure, and then just get them cheaper on Ebay, couldnt be more simple!

Hope i helped!!!!
