Can you get the MAC look with drugstore cosmetics?

Absolutely.








Half of my eyeshadows are over 15 dollars (which I deem to be the line between cheap and expensive), while the other half are usually no more than 8 dollars. All Canadian though.





Anyways, the expensive brands I own are: Micabella (kiosk brand. seems overpriced, but their eyeshadows have lasted me over a year each even with a lot of use), 2 MAC which I'm not so fond of, 2 Lise Watier


DS or inexpensive: L'oreal, Covergirl, Maybelline, Annabelle (Canadian brand),


there may be a few others, but these are the only ones I can think of.





And you know what?


They ALL look the same. I can use my MAC pigment on one side of my eye and then use maybe.... use a Maybelline or Covergirl colour on the other side, blend them, and they look the exact same quality wise.





The trick is knowing how to APPLY things. And also, I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion with some cream eyeshadow overtop before applying all my eyeshadows. And it looks fantastic, lasts all day.





It is the same with face makeup. As long as you know how to apply something, and you use correct amounts and you use things that work with your skin, then you can get a very beautiful look.

for sure!! I know i do and i only own 1 thing mac and it's a primer... it just depends on what your looking for there are GREAT! brushes for makeup at like cvs and then there are the cheaper lines of make-up that work just as well as mac....but then again it all depends on how you apply make-up





Make sure YOU wear the make-up and the make-up doesnt wear you :D

Yeah, somed drugstore brands are pretty good. I like Maybelline. Loreal and a few others. It's more about how you apply it, not the brand itself.

Well HIP from loreal is like the drugstore MAC.
