Do you think drugstore cosmetics and big name brands make that much of a difference?

Is there really that much of a difference?


I honeslty prefer alot of the drugstore brands over big names like MAC, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Estee lauder, etc..





I use Loreal, Almay, Neutrogena, and Rimmel products.





I just think the name doesnt matter, what do u think?Do you think drugstore cosmetics and big name brands make that much of a difference?
You're quite right. Some of the less expensive products are just as good as the big dollar brand. Maybelline for example is been in business for years %26amp; is some of the best eye liner for the price %26amp; stay on power there is. For the absolute best - smashbox in jel is it. Yes, I've noticed a diffrence with my skin using Bare Essentuals. MAC makeup has very vibrant colors but it leave your face very cakey feeling and not at all natural. I've used every product under the sun and I swear by bare essentuals.


Try it!! Go to Nordstrom and go to their counter and have them put make up on you and you;ll see and feel the diffrence. And they give you SAMPLES, which is always a huge plus! Check em out!
For christmas I got two [2] eyeliners, both $23 each. They smeared and were CRAP.





I use WetNWild, $0.99 for one, and it works soooo much better than the expensive kind.





I use drug store brands, I have never once had a problem with them. They do just as good as name brand, if not better for a cheaper price and a better quantity.





Dont spend a crapload of money when you dont need to.
I think it matters a lot. Foundation is the one that you can tell the most with. Stays on longer without blotching up. Smoother.


Apply with a brush and it helps get it on even. Eye shadow


and mascara are better when you buy a more expensive name, also. You get what you pay for.

The only time I haven't noticed a big difference is when im using foundations.
yeah its not a very big difference but the more expensive is usually the higher quality.... remember..Estee Lauder owns Maybelline and Lancome owns L'oreal.... so its really from the same company after all... its just the different quality and price....
I think theres a difference but i personally mix and match drugstore and big names. Love MAC,Chanel and Loreal,cant seem to go wrong with them
i agree.. some products are great as drugstore brands and then there are products that are big names that are great as well.... it really depends on the person

As long as it looks good on you and doesn't do anything bad, i dont think so :D
Expensive makeup is always better!
